The Charmed Killer is still on the loose...

Like every woman in Atlanta, Carlotta Wren is nervous and looking over her shoulder as a serial killer stalks the city, leaving charms in the mouths of his victims. Carlotta seeks solace in the home of an old friend who's vying to be her lover, and because of the Wren family's connections to the victims, is warned to stay away from body-moving and the investigation. Still, Carlotta can't resist a little sleuthing on her own - she's convinced the charms point to the killer's identity. And as clues and bodies stack up, Carlotta begins to suspect the sicko is taunting her...

too much explaining!

50% of this story is spent recapping what happened in the previous 4 books. I hope this doesn't continue because I really enjoyed this series so far.

Too Frustrating

I had no problem up until this book. Having several story lines going at one time was fine since in the past books some were given a ending. However this book was the last one I will be reading. The author left one too many story lines open leaving me frustrated. If you don't mind listening to the same endless story lines that keeps on growing with no conclusions, then by all means start this series.

“Garage”

Set in Georgia and read by a Canadian. Just an awful pairing! And the way she pronounces, “garage” made my skin crawl. The word somehow gets used a LOT, which made it very unpleasant.
Love the stories, but there needs to be a REAL southerner as the narrator for this to ring true.
Dawn!!

Good fun but again no conclusive ending

Not my favorite author, but still great writing and character development. I feel disappointed with the lack of conclusive ending though once again. Its a book series obviously, so a carried storyline is expected, but it just overall feels like this author keeps ending the book with the upfront mystery points left unresolved. I only read books that come in a series, and I've just never been left with this sort of incomplete/unsatisfied feeling before... Almost like I'm being dupped into buying the next book rather than buying just cause it's so good. That said, I still recommend this series cause it's good fun, just know that you'll have to buy'em all to ever get the satisfaction of a good book ending....

Good, but Frustrating

Buyer beware. These books have no conclusion They leave you hanging on nearly every aspect of the story. I am now fully committed to its resolution, so I will buy the next one, good thing I have plenty of credits. But I must tell you it’s frustrating for me.

Love the series

I loved the narrator as well but she has a slight accent on certain words which don’t fit in with the character being from the south at all, so that is a little off-putting but otherwise, great work
