Publisher's summary

They said it wasn’t possible. It shouldn’t have happened. Yet it did.

The world as they knew it was gone. Technology all but disappeared. Everything that defined their modern lives dead in one big flash. No more luxuries, only survival. Now if they can just figure out how to do that.

With a president hell-bent on taking their supplies and their liberties for his own agenda, the people of this once-flourishing land will have to fight on all fronts for their very existence. Most of them don’t know how to do that. They’re going to have to learn. Fast.

Great read

Another great book in this series. This book gives a realistic view of how people will react if a disaster happens. Most of the characters in the book are not prepared for such an event. I like the way P.A. Glaspy shows the way different personalities will deal with bad events. She also gives some tips for preparing for these types of events. I look forward to the rest of the series. I enjoyed the audible version also.

Book 2

A very good follow up in this series. It has all the excitement and intrigue that were on the first book. I will follow this series.

only found one mistake

PA glaspy the only criticism I have is there is no such thing as a 22 mm caliber. first you wrote 22 mm then later 22 mm caliber. Other than that I really enjoyed the story.

Some technical details off.....

22 MM? Also the Coast Guard lady was a Captain? Sounded more like an Ensign or maybe a Lieutenant Junior Grade. A captain in the Coast Guard is a senior officer. O-6 ....A major in the Army is only on O-4 . Author made her sound subservient to the major. Should have been the other way around. Otherwise writing and characters are fairly good.

Another winner

Great pairing of writer and reader. Subject that is not hard to imagine happening today.

Out of her league

This author is good when the storyline stays within families and friends, but when she writes about the government and the characterization of government officials, she completely loses me. I’m embarrassed for her. The dialogue sounds too female for men too.
