Though it seemed all darkness had been banished by Mysterians, a ruthless enemy remained. The powerful Alacorn's plans were foiled at the final moments. However, he was not defeated by the Palletans greatest general Gundham. He was merely stalled from victory, costing the general his life, and the story buried. Seven years later, the generals son, Rhian Cyrus, returns a disgraced soldier only to discover his mother has been killed, triggering a series of events beyond what he believed to be reality.

Upon befriending a Mysterian on his journey to avenge his mother, he soon discovers beyond the hostile rival districts lies greater danger: the Wild, Summoned Demons and his own mind. Accompanied by his loyal friends, this journey will change his life, or end it.
