Wild About Highlanders

This story was good but the narration wasn't as good as I hoped. It's well written and interesting from beginning to end. I'm looking forward to more in this series, though I'm hoping for a switch in narrator.

Excellent Story - Great Characters

This book is filled with suspense, villainy, and treachery. The characters are well developed and the story is fast-paced.

Lady Angelique Drummagan is half French and half Scot and she has a very poor opinion of men because her mother taught her that they can never be faithful. However, her father has passed away and she is his actual heir because they hold a title that can pass through the female line as well as the male.

Sir Lachlan MacGrath has served his king well and the king wants to reward him appropriately. The king knows that Angelique will be unable to lead the clan because she is female and French - not to mention that there is a male relative who has every intention of usurping the clan Lairdship for himself. So, the king orders Lachlan and Angelique to wed.

The action starts from there and goes through to the end of the book. You'll enjoy watching Lachlan and Angelique grow to care for one another and defeat the bad guys at the same time!

Adventure and Romance

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. I loved the character of Lachlan, he tried so hard to prove himself to Angelique and to put his reputation in his past. There were many events working against him. There were many dangerous situations confronting them both. Lachlan’s friend, Rebbie, was a loyal friend but quite a tease! The narrator used a variety of different voices and accents. I loved his voice for Lachlan, in particular.

Interesting, passionate and Dangerous.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lady Angelique because she has a fighting spirit and stands up for whats right.

Which scene was your favorite?

I have a few Favorite's but The dark drawling room where she was hiding from Lord Chants-worth was funny. The Audio Narrator makes it like we are apart of the story as a side character that no one can see but we are there watching the story take place.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Adventure, Betrayal, Lust!

I wish they had a female to read the female parts. I think it would have run smoother for me. But I still enjoyed it!!!!! I would tell everyone its a must add to your Audio list.

Amazing Scottish adventure!

Yes, because first of all, I loved the story, so listening to it as an audio book, was a real pleasure!

Love it!!!!!!

I loved this book. This series so far has been a great one. I only wish that audible would let you know that it is a series before hand.

Very good storyline but....

This was a very well written book but Angelique was so really headstrong for no reasons. A lot of conflict, even through romantic scenes. I also did not like the echoed personal thought passages.

Enthralling

This is a wonderful book. Lockland and Angelic were great characters. She had secrets and fears from her past. She had Trust issues. He was a rouge who was fierce, strong, honest and not understanding the connection he felt for Angelic. This was an interesting, fast paced wonderful story. Characters, side characters and the story were very well put together. I recommend it to all.
