Publisher's summary

Available for the first time as an audio book from the best-selling My Story series, Pompeii is an engaging story of one of history's most eruptive disasters.

It's August AD 78 and Claudia is at the Forum in Pompeii. It's a day of strange encounters and even odder portents.

When the ground shakes Claudia is convinced it is a bad omen. What does it all mean? And why is she so disturbed by Vesuvius, the great volcano that looms over the city...

Awesome

I love history. This is the best way of learning about ancient history that either was never written or if written the writing was somehow destroyed. She Reid does an excellent research and then puts the reader live in the ancient streets as if he was watching the events live.
