Good Fast Listen

I enjoyed the story. The author did a good job! Some twists and turns in the story.
I was not a fan of the narrator. She changed voices on the main male lead. Then it founded weird half way through. She didn’t differ in the voices well for the characters. Idk. Just wasn’t a fan of her style. But the book was still good.
Worth a listen if you like the protector style of romance.

Yes it's a story worth reading/listening to. I found the narrator on the audiobook, did an excellent job of portraying the various characters, adding a further dimension to the overall experience.

Good book

I liked this book and the narrator. There were times where it was a little boring but I kept listening until the end and it had a sweet ending.

Bodyguard that protects the body and the heart!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review.. The author and the narrator are new to me and I am impressed. The narrator makes the story flow smoothly thereby creating a listening pleasure. She gives the characters distinctive voices and brings them to life.

The author has written a book containing mystery, drama, sexual tension, heartbreak, terror, forgiveness, comedy, friendships, and love. Nathan is willing give his life in order to protect Hannah. Hannah is strong but vulnerable. I enjoyed how the author develops these characters. She also gives the listener an intriguing plot development. I highly recommend this Audible book.

The story itself

The story was great! It was well maintained with accuracy on times, dates, and characters. The only thing that was SUPER annoying was the narrator was so..... lazy maybe is the word for acting out the characters.. drove me nuts! But still great listen.

Really love this book!

This is my 3rd time reading this book but 1st listening to it. Connie Shabshab did an amazing job narrating this book. The only thing I wish was that there was a man to do the male voices instead.

A Romantic Suspense!

This was my first Jamilexis Gallardo's book, and won't be my last. Nathan and Hannah's story is suspenseful, sweet, and sexy. The storyline is fast-paced and twisted. I love the ending. Connie Shabshab is a new narrator to me. She has a great voice, easy to understand. She did a great job with the narration. #AudiobookUnleashed

Good story but...

The story seemed long winded initially. (Hannah eats when she's nervous...which is frequent in the book.)

It picks up steam after awhile. The frequent physical descriptions after awhile took away from the story for me at some times. Yes, it's important to have a physical description, but after awhile, it felt redundant.

Dual narration could have made this story pop more. The male voice wasn't convincing for me. The female characterization was better, conveying Hannah's initial awkwardness and naivete, where her maturity showed throughout the audiobook.

I had to try multiple times to finish listening to this, but it was worth it.

Not a spoiled brat!

As the daughter of a famous movie star, I thought the main character would be a self absorbed brat. I’m so glad I was wrong! When the danger started to heat up she was able to stand tall and hold her own. With a sexy personal bodyguard by her side it was no surprise they were falling for each other.

Perfect mix of romance with mystery and suspense mixed in. Loved it!

Great romantic suspense

At first I didn't know if the title really represented the story. I was thinking it just seemed like a story about the daughter of a celebrity and her bodyguard and they have an attraction. Then as the story went on and more danger was near I saw the possessiveness and holy alpha male! Talk about hot! He was never out of line. He was her protector. Hannah is the daughter of a famous movie star. Nathan is her bodyguard ever since her brother was shot. Pretty soon Nathan is her life line. They have a little bit of a history. She did kiss him months back as she was drunk after her ex and her broke it off. There is someone now after Hannah wanting to hurt her and Nathan will risk his own life to make sure she is safe. Throw in a guy best friend to make him jealous and then sexual chemistry these two can't deny and you have a crazy romantic adventure. Then be ready to be blow away by a truth that makes everything so clear. I loved this story. I hope there is more from the supporting characters.This is a must read/listen for all romance and suspense fans. This narrator was the perfect voice for this story. She had me hanging on to each word.
