If You’ve Ever Loved a Dog Like This

I’m one of those pet parents who treats their dog like my child. With Cassie, it was always that kind of love. The kind where you worry a little too much, celebrate the smallest things, and somehow build your whole world around them without even realizing it.

Listening to My Little Love felt very real. It brought me back to all of it with Cassie. Our moments together.. happy, silly, chaos, and that constant, steady love that filled the room just because she was there. There were parts that made me smile, and parts that honestly hurt a little to hear, in a good way. It reminded me of everything we go through with them. The joy, the fear when something isn’t right, and that kind of love that asks for nothing but somehow gives you everything.
