Nice but very short

I read this memoir a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure this is an abridged version. It just includes the highlights of their relationship. I'm not sure why she stayed so long or continued to love him given the troubles in their marriage.

Flawed Hero

I've heard that drugs and success changed Steve and ruined his marriage. This book confirms that. Too old at the time - Steve still chased the hippie lifestyle and screwed his brains out from 1964-70. Then he lost his mind when Nellie admitted to a one night stand. Very sad. The narrative itself lacks many details considering the relationship they had. Watch the latest LeMans Revisited video for a snapshot of reality on Steve McQueen.
