Publisher's summary

I accidentally ended up in this dimension. I had nothing. I knew no one. I barely survived the journey but landed in the best possible place; an ancient society of vampire hunters with the medical means to put me back together. I can't go home, but I can use the extra-abilities I gained from slipping dimensions to work for Black Swan and try to keep my friends alive.

When it comes to love, I have options. The knight who saved my life is strength and honor personified. The sexy elf who thinks I'm his mate. And an incredibly attractive 600-year-old vampire. My name is Elora Laiken. This is my story.

Contains mature themes.

Really really loved this!

I have read this book over and over again and to hear it in audio makes the tale seem like new again. The story is so unbelievable good and so original. I love all Victoria's books across all the genres, but this is the book that started it all. I cannot believe this has been made in to an audio book now! I have just finished it now and it is amazing!!! I will listen to this over and over again.

Stormy Love Triangle

This book has it all! A fierce, dimension jumping heroine, vampire, elves, and an intense love triangle. Elora loses everything one night when invaders massacre her family. After being shoved into an inter-dimensional portal she wakes up, bloody and broken in a new yet almost familiar world. As she adapts to her new life with the Knights of the Black Swan she develops relationships with Storm and Ram. The slow building flirtation between her and Ram is contrasted with the fast friendship and loyalty she has with Storm. What if doing the right thing isn’t the right thing? We have so much to say about these beautifully written relationships you don’t want to miss this episode. And stay for the hilarious discussion of food play in the bedroom!

Love this series Books 1-3

Just discovered Victoria Danann’s Black Swan series and I am totally hooked and addicted.
The main characters are all delightful and their backgrounds are full and rich with personality. (My new book boyfriend is now an Elf). World building is detailed, rich and full.
The story catches you from the beginning and mesmerizes you through the whole first three books (just finished book 3).
It’s an exciting rollercoaster, romantic , crazy funny with lots of wit and humor. Kick ass heroines who are awesome (not whiny or indecisive). The exceptional males recruited to the agency are all gorgeous alpha brave heroes with a strong sense loyalty, morality and beyond sexy. I love their commitment to the brotherhood and each other.
The story line was great and weaves in with lots of secondary characters and stories that become main books as the series progresses.
The narrator was amazing and his accents were quite believable. Loved his Irish brogue. I wish the rest of the series was also put on audible and hope they consider getting as much of the series up on whispersync ASAP.

an old favorite

This book was published in 2012, I have re-read it dozens of times. I'm glad to finally have it on audio.
I wish the performer was better with Irish accents, but overall its a pretty good performance.

Did not care for the story.

The story sounded better than it actually was. I thought it was going to be a wonderful mystery. The story turned out to be like so many conemporary romance mystery novels, flat and contrite. Don't waste your credit.

dimension traveling

this story wasn't what I expected. I think I was looking for something more paranormal and this story in my opinion is a cross between sci fi and dimensional time travel. well written, creative but not my thing.
