Publisher's Summary

Some people bomb auditions. Sadie Ramirez throws up during her tryouts on TV show America's Top Talent. Her performance is so bad, it earns her a fairy godmother through the Magical Alliance's Pitiful Damsel Outreach Program. Enter Chrysanthemum Everstar: a gum-chewing, cell-phone-carrying, high-heel-wearing fairy godmother in training.

She misinterprets Sadie's wishes and sends her back in time to be a part of The Little Mermaid story and then makes her one of the 12 dancing princesses. Wishes are permanent, and if Sadie wants to get back to her home, she'll have to strike a magical bargain - one that involves stealing a goblet from a powerful fairy queen. With a little help from a handsome and talented thief, she might be able to pull it off.

Enjoyable fairytale mashup with entertaining characters

Heather's performance is wonderful. I found myself laughing out loud at the characters mishaps and the narration which brought it to life.
I'd recommend it to fans of fairytale retellings, and any fans of Rallison's work.
I enjoyed exploring the Twelve Dancing Princess tales, the Frog Prince, and The Little Mermaid. Rallison has a great sense of humor conveyed through her characters.

Fairytales and Wishes

I have enjoyed all three of the Fair Godmother books. This third installment was as enjoyable as the first two. The narration was well done. Thank you!

Great story

Where does My Fairly Dangerous Godmother rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I've listened to a lot of audiobooks. It was pretty good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Donovan was a believable love interest.

Which character – as performed by Heather Masters – was your favorite?

Donovan.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Donovan did something spoiler-y.

Any additional comments?

Great story. I didn't really get into it until the first act was over, but once all the pieces were on the table and the real conflict was revealed, it got a lot more interesting. The resolution was a lot of fun too--neat and tidy, but not unduly so.

MY TAKE
There was a more ominous feel to this story than the previous ones. Kind of like the difference between the Disney fairytales and the original ones. Once again Rallison excels in making the characters fun and full of snarky humor. The characters growth is awesome, and romance sizzled.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a great job.

Don't waste a credit.

I gave up after 4 chapters. Just never grabbed my attention. The story. feels very disjointed.

Great story..Great characters

Where does My Fairly Dangerous Godmother rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Definitely near the top. It has a cute story line. Good Clean Listening

What was one of the most memorable moments of My Fairly Dangerous Godmother?

I am a romantic, so I loved when Jason had to sing at both high school proms while Sadie and Donavan danced the waltz.

Have you listened to any of Heather Masters’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Harry Potter has nothing better than Fairly Dangerous Godmother. Make believe meets real life.
