The church as an institution is inseparable from western culture, and yet a true theological, biblical, and prophetic understanding of the church is all too often beyond our understanding. Who we are. Why are we here. What our place is in history. These questions few Christians seem to understand. And yet an understanding of these matters is among the highest, most joyful, and glorious of all human ideas. That is the purpose of this small book. To clarify the question of our identity.
