Slow build but good.

I started this book excited to learn theory. Unfortunately the first 12 chapters are exploring history and not so much theory related. I almost lost interest. The first 12 chapters were really repetitive me. Once chapter 13 started I was inundated to theory and knowledge. This just knowledge just built on itself. It was fantastic. By the end of this book I was excited to bring out my musical instruments and explore the knowledge I gained. I am sure I will be going through chapter 13-27 over and over. There is a lot to take in. Excited for this. Great choice.

10 Chapters in...still no music theory

Vague, redundant talk of benefits to learning but very little actual theory . Mr. Author, if I'm buying your audio book on music theory, I'm obviously already vested in the benefits of learning. 10 chapters of circular talk about why to learn music theory, who uses music theory, and unspecified ways to learn music theory sort of suggests you really don't have that much to say about music theory and your just making up stuff to fill time. A person new to music will have only learned on thing in these first 10 chapters...whole steps and half steps between notes on the musical scale. Much, much more should have been accomplished by now.

Narrator lacks the voice inflection to make you feel as though you are in a personal conversion. Fairly high pitched monotone makes it quite obvious you're being read to.

Buyer's remorse. The extensive number of 5-star ratings makes one wonder about their legitimacy.

Probably one of the very best mind set principles

This is probably one of the very best mind set principles I have ever read. One of the best things about it is that you can use this system for just about everything.

This audio book enables me to learn individual.

The digital audio book enables me to learn individually time. I am a visual and sensation student, so I like that there are listen in the audio book just as recordings to oblige the exercises.

Audible I am very pleased to listen that music.

This is pleasant audio book piano exercises for novices for my family. It is anything but difficult to pursue and is appropriate for individuals who don't have any earlier learning on the best way to play the piano such as myself.

This audible has an arrangement music for beginner

This audio book has an arrangement exclusively fitted for someone with decidedly no melodic learning. What I'm expressing in case you know your basic theory and piano keys,

I got many conductive ideas from this audible.

The traditional learning approach can feel like a never ending process before you get to actually play the instrument.

Should be titled “Why you need to learn theory”

I bought this audiobook in order to learn theory, not listen to someone blather on about why it’s important. I know that and bought the book for that reason. I don’t know if this is necessarily an American trait but the last few books I bought are so full of useless information and repetitive filler that they could easily be reduced to a pamphlet.
Not happy with this book!!

Utterly useless

No one using audio to teach mucus theory should produce a Bol as flat dull lacking rhythm and lacking pace that this book has

Every thing it describes as wrong with music theory teaching is in this audiobook

Best avoided - too many statements of the obvious

This was a major disappointment, a minor learning zone devoid of anything of any particular note.

It’s absolutely useless

If you hope to understand music theory this book probably not for I have listened about 50% of this book in hope that author finish his mumbling why everybody needs to know music theory and start explaining how it actually works so far I know from the book that there is 7 notes like seriously almost 3 hours mumbling 7 notes the only related to music. I think if we will throw away all that useless staff like “if you want to know music theory you should go to your guitar teacher add ask him” the essence of the book could be compiled to 10 min power point presentation

Please Avoid - Contains Little Music Theory

I very rarely leave reviews but I was so disappointed with it I just had to. The book does not teach music theory - just tells you why you should learn music theory (which unsurprisingly is something I already knew and is the reason I brought the book). The book basically tells you to find a teacher or look online to learn the subject matter.
