Kat and her friends are off on a relaxing trip again. This time to Seychelles. But they didn’t expect to be involved in a situation where someone is murdered. They had gotten to know the family involved. The family was gathered together for a wedding. But there seemed to be a lot of conflict among them. Now there’s a murder mystery to be solved. There was a lot of humor throughout this story. I always enjoy the characters in Dianne’s series. I listened to the audiobook and the narration was easy to listen to.

Good book!

I was given this book for a fair and honest review over a month ago. Having just completed a book I loved, I started listening to this book but could not get into it. I decided to give it some time before i tried again to get my head away from the other book. I tried listening the second time but again could not get into it. (Lots of life things going on I thought). So I waited and tried again the 3rd time. This time I got through the book but had difficulty with the narrator. She upspeaks. A kind of lilt at the end of sentences. I found it distracting from the story. The story was definitely a predictable light story, and I enjoyed the story but I would probably not listen to it again because of that lilt at the end of the sentences.

Fun, light mystery

Fun, cozy mystery. The narration starts out a happy monotone (perhaps too happy), but gets better toward the end., more natural I especially liked the way Kelli Petroski narrated the five friends all together. I struggled with the police in another country asking for Cat's help before even getting to know her, but it was a fun light listen.

Another murder in Paradise!

Murder in Seychelles (#11 Midwest Cozy Mystery series) by Dianne Harman is another hit! Kat and her friends are taking a tropical vacation and befriend another American family there for a wedding. Its perfect until a member of the wedding party gets murdered. Kat is asked for her help and is instrumental in uncovering the murderer. The writing and descriptions are wonderful and I truly was enjoying my Seychelles vacation too! I enjoy Dianne Harman’s mysteries in other countries! The narration by Kelli Petroski is wonderful. She brings the story and characters to life.

A nice cozy mystery

The story is good for a quick cozy mystery. It was what I expected in this type of story.

THe narration was okay but not one of my favorite narrators. The characters do have unique voices. If you listen to the sample and like the narrators voice, then buy this book. Some of the voices were not to my liking.

Junior high level

The reader has no clue what she is reading. She uses the same tonation for every sentence. The author has no concept of conversational usage of vocabulary.
