Murder in Helsinki

When a frozen corpse is discovered amid a Helsinki winter, Detective Superintendent Topias Torikka is brought in to investigate. The dead man is the husband of a beautiful and beguiling young woman, whom Topias suspects knows more than she reveals. However, before long, she also finds herself in peril, and as the case progresses, so too does the body count. Intriguing connections arise, and motives appear, including the usual suspects: love, betrayal and money. Can Topias identify and bring a criminal conspiracy to justice before someone else dies?

Interesting story

The AI’s monotonous tone, mispronunciation of names and various words REALLY detracted from the story. I had to replay portions as I could not engage in the flow, was constantly falling asleep listening to the narrator. The description of a killing was devoid of emotion or excitement. The love scenes sounded like a computer generated telephone menu. The plot is interesting, the characters interesting.

Terrible narration!

The story is elementary and AI narration was a total failure. All characters voices were the same, pronunciation was often incorrect, and the overall presentation was painfully monotonous.
