Movie Star excitement

Kelly and Mike are stars in this book. There’s a lot of excitement in Cedar Bay because of a movie star. Especially when she shows up in Kelly’s Koffee Shop. There’s even more excitement when she is found dead. Kelly can’t keep herself from doing a little investigating. Mike doesn’t want her involved but the case is affecting his job. This was a great mystery with a lot of possible suspects. I love the characters and the dogs In this series. And Kelly and Mike have a fun easy relationship.

Great Cedar Bay story - So many suspects!

I enjoyed this book in the Cedar Bay series. Kelly and Mike are a great team in gathering clues to catch the murderer of an aging Hollywood star. Dianne Harman’s writing is always great and Jamie Lynn’s narration brings the story to life. I haven’t always read the books in order, but its okay because Dianne provides enough background to make it stand-alone.

nice mystery

A nice mystery with a good narrator. I’m enjoying all of these husband and wife “team” murder cases. I’m not sticking to any order, but I do see past cases referenced often.

Great small town cozy mystery

Murder and the Movie Star is another great mystery in the Cedar Bay Cozy Series. These stories are the perfect length to start and finish in an evening. I’d recommend starting with book one and listening to all of them. They’re enjoyable, cozy, well-written stories. I really appreciate the recipes Dianne includes, and I’m excited to try them. Jamie Lynn did a good job with the narration.
