Good Entry in the Series

A suspicious death. A "haunted" house. A mysterious stranger. Sounds like Jessica Fletcher has another mystery to solve.

I'm a long time fan of this series. I enjoyed it when it was on TV and I've read many of the books. The pace is moderate, there is no graphic sex or violence, and no crude language. When I want something relaxing and enjoyable this series is a good choice for me.

If you've enjoyed other books in the series, you'll probably like this one.

Plot twist!

I always enjoy these books! Although there were a few weak points that aren't usually present, there were a couple plot twists that I enjoyed.

There were a few points where the questions asked just didn't make sense or the sheriff was saying things that really had me doubting his critical thinking skills. 😅 But other than that, I really enjoyed this book.

The best of the series

I love this series. Some of the stories were not so great but this was fun, suspenseful and full of life. (Murder mystery...full of life). Anyway, this is a great read and really the absolute best.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This book had the best plot and story line of any of the Murder, She Wrote books I have listened to, and I've listened to a lot. This is by far my favorite. The characters are easy to follow, the story line is believable and there is suspense and surprises.

What does Sandra Burr bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love her as a narrator.

What did you love best about Murder, She Wrote: The Ghost and Mrs. Fletcher?

I am such a fan of the TV series, that it is a pleasure to be able to listen to mystery stories that are a novelized continuation of the MSW TV series. The author, Donald Bain has made a real effort to stay consistent with the characters while keeping the story lines fresh and new. Sandra Burr does a very good job as the voice of Jessica Fletcher and the other voices as well. I really enjoyed this story for the mystery and for the continued writing that is keeping Cabot Cove, Maine and the character of Jessica Fletcher alive.
