Elia Barceló (Elda, Alicante, 1957). Se la considera una de las escritoras más versátiles de la narrativa española y es una de las autoras de mayor prestigio en el ámbito del fantástico y la ciencia ficción. Ha publicado treinta novelas, realistas, criminales, históricas..., unas para adultos y otras para jóvenes, y unos setenta relatos, en España y en el extranjero. Ha sido traducida a veinte idiomas con gran éxito de público y crítica, consolidándose como una de las voces españolas más internacionales de la narrativa actual. Es autora de obras de gran éxito como El color del silencio, El secreto del orfebre, Las largas sombras, El eco de la piel, La noche de plata y Disfraces terribles.
