Publisher's summary
Jerry North, the suave and successful book publisher, is married to the resourceful, glamorous, and quick-witted Pam. This terrific twosome is just as comfortable dealing with blood stains and dead bodies as they are hosting dinner parties or going out for an evening of dancing. And that's a good thing...because each week finds them smack in the middle of a murder! Fortunately, these amateur criminologists always get to the bottom of things. The culprits are apprehended, and the wrongfully accused are vindicated.
Joseph Curtin, Alice Frost, Richard Denning, and Barbara Britton are featured in this collection of 16 digitally restored and remastered episodes - featuring several broadcasts that have never before been available to the public.

Story
The doorbell rings, just days after my beloved husband’s sudden death. I don’t recognise the woman on our doorstep, with her blonde highlights, a diamond bracelet identical to my own and a bouncing baby boy in her arms. As I show her inside, I notice her eyes grow wide as she takes in our spacious hallway, and the big squashy sofas that we all used to pile on. She glances at the silver-framed family photos and my little daughter hiding behind my skirts. She looks at me, her blue eyes serious. ‘I’m sorry’ she says. ‘I am your husband’s girlfriend. And this is his son.'

Not the best radio show. I thought Mr and Mrs North would be like Nick and Nora Charles orTommy and Tumpence . But no, instead of being great detectives, they were more like well meaning people who were always finding dead people. The last four stories were repeats of the first four stories of the audiobook
