This book is written by Coach Chris Romano, who is a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Detroit Tigers, as well as the father of two youth baseball players. Coach Romano decided to write this book to share his expertise with the awesome dads who volunteer to coach their kids youth baseball teams. Everyone wants to help their kids and their team to be better ball players, and a lot of youth travel teams have incorporated some type of Strength, Speed, and Conditioning work into their practices. However, most of these coaches are not experienced in the science of Strength & Conditioning, and don't always know what to do and what not to do for these programs. This book is to guide these dads/coaches with professional advice on what to include and what not to include to ensure age appropriate training is successfully done, as well as avoiding exercises that are either less beneficial or even dangerous. The idea of this book actually came from Coach Romano's 8 year old travel baseball playing son, Lee. Béisbol y Sóftbol Deportes Deportes y Aire libre
