Excellent for the very young

It has a wonderful collection of short stories for very young children. I am an ESL teacher and my students love it. The stories get progressively more challenging, so it helps to improve the students' listening skill.

Excellent Stories with great performance!

Those stories are fun and the author's reading performance is excellent. My kid loves reading those stories, the audio version is an excellent addition.

A Childhood Favorite is a Hit!

I loved our Mouse Tales book as a child in the 80s and 90s. It’s been fun to share with my 4.5 year old! He’s captivated by the stories and asks Alexa to play it almost daily.

Impossible to listen to

I regret buying this book. The content of the stories is great. However, because it’s not divided by chapters (the way the actual book is) it’s impossible to go to a specific story. I want to access certain stories at a certain time, Having to keep trying to find what I want makes this completely useless to me, if I’d know, I never would have bought it. Because I didn’t buy it with audible credits, it’s not eligible for a refund. I haven’t even listed to the whole thing and doubt I will. Buyers beware!

Kind of Meh

My girls and I really enjoy the narrator but the stories themselves are kind of weird and not wholly appropriate (in my opinion) for young children. There is a lot of "violence", such as characters hitting or trying to eat other characters. Some of the stories are just weird, like the mouse who goes to visit his mother and ends up exchanging his worn out feet for new ones. My girls (ages 5 and 4) love Frog and Toad by were not fans of this book. We returned it.
