Well written characters in a basic story
The story and world is very standard modern witch/vampire stuff.

Fun Story
While there were slightly irritating grammatical errors and an over abundance of dialogue about the child’s right to be happy, I enjoyed this read. The characters were loveable. and the story was the right combination of magic and mystery.

Pretty Good
I am looking forward to the next book. I enjoy paranormal mysteries, trying to solve a murder and at the same time discovering the main character's new talents or gifts. Brave and determined main character.

Meh
all the promising elements of a cozy mystery is here and characters had the potential to be interesting. Unfortunately whats missing is the pizzazz & the story was just a bit boring. “To be fair” (a phrase used repeatedly throughout the story), i really tried to like it but maybe this isnt just for me.

Fun and Suspenseful
I enjoyed the plot twists and turns that kept you thinking you knew who dunit. The most endearing part of this book was the main characters willingness to be there for another person as best she could. The voice acting is superb and brought all the characters to life.

Enjoyable mystery
An enjoyable mystery. The story developed in a believable manor. There was some humor sprinkled throughout. Only real problem was that I didn’t feel any chemistry between the heroine and her romantic interest.
