Down to Earth Mother Meets Some Crazies

This was a FUN listen! I’m the mom of five and grandma of ten, been both the professional working mom and a stay at home mom. So, this story of Kate Connelly and her new baby, Laura was a hoot for me. Questioning each new decision and whether Laura was on target with each milestone, made me want to wrap this sweet new mom in my arms and tell her that she was doing just fine. The snooty, know-it-all mothers in the new mommy club who signed their babies up for swim lessons before they were even born cracked me up, too. And the world is full of such women . . . who have to act like they have it all together, when they don’t have any more a clue than sweet Kate . . . Doing more damage than they can ever imagine to themselves and their stressed-out offspring. The story is well written, funny, yet it has some good lessons and family values. I didn’t figure out who the murderer was either. Great conclusion! I will definitely listen to more in the series.

good story

better narration this time easier to listen to than book 1 was voice was not so high pitched as to be uncomfortable and characters could be better identified by voice.

Good Base to the Story

Its a good book. The story base is good, somethings are over described and drawn out. The endings, not the outcome, could be better... the story just ends in 20 words or less. The narration is hard to follow at times with the minimal change in voice.

Really was hopeful

I had high hopes, but alas, the stupidity of the main character just kills me! She literally holds the miser weapon in her hands and misses it.. ugh.

Motherhood is Full of Surprises

Diana Orgain presented a very engaging murder caper with all the twists and turns necessary to try and decipher "Who done it?" Enlisting the help of family, friends & even Mom's boyfriend/PI/Sponsor turned out to be just the ticket to all the answers! This was a very fun Audible Mystery I've really enjoyed as well as the first one too.

Irrating

Mystery part fun. Main character is extrodinator irrating. Worst than a helicopter mom. The kids will grow up a psychological killer if this character is real. Keep the same pet name for baby. Changing continually made me stop reading the book over and over again. drudge through book to see "who dun't". Can't force myself to drudge through another. Now I know why it was free. When you see all three of a series free that is a clue they are not worth your time.

DE-lightful ~

A fun, twist on motherhood and murder! Author might want to stick to her very prolific and apparently successful writing sf
