On this episode, Dr. LaReesa Ferdinand MD is a board certified OB/GYN, menopause expert and owner of the Thrive Beyond Wellness Center in Central Florida and Virtual services. In this episode, Dr. LaReesa and I discuss the complicated relationship between mothers and daughters. We explore the messaging women receive about their self image, acceptance and sexuality. This podcast was released for Mother's Day which is also challenging for mothers and daughters who may not enjoy a healthy relationship. As mothers and daughters we have the ability to correct and heal when we desire to do so. It is our hope that mothers will consider the type of mother vs parent they want to be to their daughters.
