Love it

I read the fourth book before I could start this one. I’m glad that I read this one. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to book 2. I can’t wait to find out what happens to Griffin Britta.

Fantastic

Wow this book!!!!! It was worth the hours listening to it, the way love flows between the main characters is wonderful and the narrator is one of my favorite so that made it more special 😍😍

Wonderful book

I love this book it was the second one by this author that I listen/read. The narrator is good. Maxon and Keeley story was wonderful. Family is extremely important even if you have to cut someone out. Also a great friendship is hard to find and I glad Maxon rekindled his.

Best SB book I've listened to!

This was a great listen! Impressed with the presence of so much story and not so much overwhelming sexy time... though just enough. Go SB!

May Get to Love This

This is my first novel by Shayla Black and probably the second I’ve heard narrated by Christian Fox. I love his ability to do male and female narration, however, I struggle with his pace, clipped words, and sometimes low and fading tone. (It’s hard to hear when I listen in the shower TBH )

The story itself actually kept me interested and helped me push through the entire production. I was excited about the Hawaiian backdrop and I thought that Ms. Black did a great job developing that piece of the story but I felt like all the character development got rushed into the later part of the book. I’m planning to continue with the series to see if it gets better.

More Thank Want You

Goid read love the interaction between the family, tense, crazy and loving. Short and perfect in this crazy busy world.

Great listen and new series

This is the first book in a new series by Shayla Black and it's a great beginning. Maxon Reed is an real estate mogul trying to one up his biggest competition Griff (who happens to be his brother). He decides to put a woman in his way who happens to be Keeley Kent. But he doesn't expect to fall for her himself. I also love the other characters in this book. The backstory and the future story's are what makes this such a great book and now series to come. This was a book that you cannot put down. I cannot wait for Griffs book.

Good narration, meh story

It had good narration, but a meh story. Story was okay, but a boring and anticlimactic ending.

Great start to this series

This book drew me into it's series! This is real life. I'd listen to it again!

A more 'vanilla' SB story with excellent plot

SB doesn't disappoint with yet another great storyline. A relatable story that breaks the "romance " mold -it's not predictable or cheesy. More "vanilla" compared to the Wicked series.
