A good history of hedge funds and financial booms / busts of the modern era

This book is one of the best ways to learn about hedge fund history, it was also very thorough in its analysis of the hedge fund industry as a whole.

It is good to walk through the history of hedge fund. Through history, we can understand the big picture. It helps us have a birds eye view of our financial system.

Good book, some books are likely better as written books and not audiobooks. This is not a knock on the narrator, but the content wasn’t suited for the audio format.

This book tells all in just a few hours!

I worked for an asset allocator for 3.5 years. Over that 3.5 years I learned an enormous amount of information about the hedge fund industry. Now, I listen to this book and it sums up nearly 85% of that information in just a few short hours. The remaining 15% can only come from experience itself. This is a great listen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fascinating history of hedge funds

If you have any interest in trading or investments, this will be a fascinating look into some of the biggest operations for making, and sometimes losing money. If not, it will probably be extremely boring for you.
