Publisher's summary

Over one million “likes” - but only one of them matters.

After pop star Ryan De Luna praises Maisy Harrison’s YouTube cover of his classic hit, he offers Maisy and her fledgling band the opportunity of a lifetime: to be his opening act.

Music may be Maisy’s life, but she has one ground rule: never date a musician. That goes double for a heartbreaker like Ryan. If only she didn’t feel so vulnerable to his larger-than-life charm. And maybe now more than ever, when he asks for her help to shake off his playboy image. How can she resist playing the part of his fake girlfriend for the duration of the tour?

Ryan’s never met anyone like Maisy. She sees past all the star-studded fame and treats him like any other guy. And the more time they spend together, the more he finds himself falling for her. Now he’d like to make their imaginary fling an IRL thing. But can he convince her to take a chance and trust him with her heart?

Moonstruck

Once again Sariah Wilson has written a great story. The Harrison family was precious and their bond strong. Ryan was a steamboat! The love story was focused on trust, a fundamental of true love. Please write more. Truly enjoyable!

clean story

I enjoyed this more than I expected for it being about young early twenty somethings. I find it interesting that the 2 books I've listened to by this author now, the main characters are virgins. so it's not just no sex, but a clear statement is made about sex. the narrator did a good job, especially not sounding cheesy doing the male parts.

A sweet love story

I liked this book. However i can’t say I loved it. I liked Maisy in the beginning, she was sassy and didn’t take crap from anyone. Then as she began to fall for Ryan she became very insecure and constantly compared him to her father and couldn’t trust completely. I was quite disappointed in her reaction to the problem that came between them towards the end. She was too quick to judge and gave up so easily. The ending was sweet. I liked the narrator for maisy but Ryan’s voice was kind of annoying.

Great book

What a wonderful story of being afraid to love someone and finding out there not life the person in your life that you thought they would be. Narration was wonderful.

Narrator read both H and h well but

why was she taking long pauses between each sentence? It was annoying to the point that I set the speed of play on 1.75., sometimes on 2 just to get thru a tedious chapter.
As to the story itself; I went back and forth on how many stars I would rate it. In the end I felt it deserved 3 stars.
My reasons are:
1. There were chapters were the main character droned on and on about her life, her mother and the undeveloped character of her father. It seemed this sperm donor was working extra long hours populating the earth with a century’s worth of women but the reader never got to see any further than a brief moment at a jazz club.
2. The last chapter - where Maisey is overseas with her 3 brothers (the 4 of them form a band) performing their style of music. Our h is waxing on and on about forgiveness, how she needs to forgive others, she needs to forgive herself, etc, etc, etc. That chapter was ramped up to the speed of 3. It dropped back down when the H (spoiler ahead) proposed to the h.
Saying the same thing over and over again using different words does not make a great story. It’s a good story with unfortunately too much filler.

Awesome voice acting.

The voice actor made this come alive. Told I’m first person, it really felt like Maisy was telling the story. Great job!

At first pass I thought the ending was needlessly convoluted but...

On second pass , I really enjoyed the first 85% of the book. The ending was a little tedious but didn’t ruin the remainder of the book and it finished as it should have.
