Third Novella of The Moonlit Series..A Winner!
Tyler left his pack when forced mating was decreed by the prior alpha. Finding during the full moon phases of the need for mating Tyler is finding not any woman works anymore...when in walks Kiera into the bar he is sitting.
Well written, emotionally and loyally driven protective werewolf...I loved the MC, and revisiting the alpha and Ming from the first book.
This narrator is so incredible in the voices used, the emotion and way she draws and keeps me in the story. Definite winner!
This is a novella about Kyra meeting Tyler and finding out about werewolves. She is on the run from her abusive boyfriend, Rock. Will Tyler be able to protect her from Rock? Where does the white wolf stand ? The characters are great and definitely could have had more said about Tyler''s pack and her future with them .After reading the story, the reader will understand more about the moonlight protector.
A generic novel, listen when bored.
What would have made Moonlit Protector better?
I am not exactly sure what I expected from a short novel, but I truely thought there would be more depth to these characters. The whole read felt generic and predictable.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Outlander, or something by R.A. Salvatore.
How could the performance have been better?
Great stories, even short ones, need to leave the reader with a feeling that the book they just read is now a great memory. A memory that can be recalled, at will, with clarity and closeness to the charaters that can only be conveyed through the passions of good writing.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
No reaction. . . that is the problem.
Any additional comments?
I think this author's intent was to sell a book instead of creating a story. I could see paying for this short novel as a book, but not $6.00 for an audio.
