Publisher's summary

The life of a star-studded royal has not been kind to 18-year-old Elena Watkins. With a Council breathing down her neck and a dragon that refuses to accept her as her rider, she must convince everyone that she is ready to rule Paegeia like her parents before her. But she has made a promise to her father King Albert, that she will not go looking for him and free the people of Etan. Elena has promised to never truly fulfill her destiny.

However, situations out of her control will soon force her to confront herself and the evil that seeks to destroy her. Elena must look inside herself to discover if she can defeat the approaching darkness, be accepted by the people of Paegeia, bring her dragon back to light, and fulfill the destiny written in their stars.

Fabulous Book *Spoiler Alert*

This Series is AMAZING & the Narrator truly is the best in her class. The way she flows between each character is impressive But….Spoiler Alert….I enjoy a slow burn between the MC love interests but seriously this is getting ridiculous. Blake & Elena is truly getting on my nerves But then I have to tell myself ok look at all that she has went through & he was fighting evil. The author is promising a love to end all love stories but she is only getting on nerves! With all that said the author is amazing. She is creating a story / a world build that I dread when it ends & I don’t want to quit listening to.

My review

I love how they had a male and female voice near to the female. For lena and the male for Blake, it should have been like this and all of the books. And I hope it is in the next one

good book series

there is a major error twenty one minutes into chapter thirty one. As childish as the main character is, I've really enjoyed the series.

Do not let the other reviews sway you.

Yes, there is a emotionally rough part of the book. That part was not written in a disgusting fashion, but emotionally charged. I cried at the part and several other parts.

Blake’s transformation

I sooo enjoyed this book. I laughed and cried. The only thing I have to complain about was the constant shhhhing. This book had everything that is good and evil. Some parts were difficult but done well by the writer. The entire series has been wonderful. It’s rare for me not to skip parts , but I didn’t in this book. Beautifully written and narrated!

Just Why?

I like to read silly fantasy books in between some heavy nonfiction stuff (science, history, economics etc., or brutal classic literature). Reading funny fiction helps to relax and let my inner child to have some fun. But that book was too disturbing. I only hope that the author never had that same experience in her real life. It could sound as a reflection of a desperate cry from the heart. But then they should’ve known that those types of traumatic experiences could never be treated easily, and requires a lot of physiological drama to follow until the last book of that series. so it’s a huge genre fail. On the other hand I did recognize a great amount of scenes that were borrowed from the other books. It didn’t bothered be, it’s actually had an opposite effect - I liked it. Anyway, if it wasn’t a personal drama, well then all I can say: Dear author, the Game of Thrones influence didn’t work this time.
