great book, wish it had a real voice behind it

the story was great and not easily predicted, which I always enjoy! Although this was the best AI narration I have listened to, it still missed the emotions needed to keep you wrapped up in the story!

very descriptive

I liked the way they would describe people, places etc. I disliked that I could frequently tell what was coming up in the story.

I was wondering if Virtual voice did editing as it went. There were a few rough spots.

Great story, especially as an introduction to Trauma

I think it was an excellent story, and I understand the financial reasons for narrating with AI. It is a little hard to get used to the sound of the narration and for some people I suppose it would be difficult to ignore certain mistakes, but overall pretty impressive and I look forward to a time when this author is able to have this read in a human voice. I hope more people give the book a chance so that’s an opportunity.

Do not like virtual narration!

This did not sound like a good narrator. The story was interesting and enjoyable. It would have been better with a live narrator.

wonderfully Written

This book was so emotional. It resonates so much with my up bringing, minus the physical abuse. The mental abuse is so spot on to my own childhood.

Great listen

I really loved this story and didn't want to stop listening, took a while to get used to the monotone voice of AI.. But as I listened my own mind mind fixed the monotone voice..

Exceptional!!

I would say this could’ve been a movie but the details would be edited and thats what make up this incredible tale. Whether fiction or non fiction it is an extremely well written story. The suspense, the plot twists, the characters, the depth are all amazing. Bravo to the author. I was surprised virtual voice didn’t destroy it too bad. Thankfully I was still able to grasp the story because I hate virtual voice. If you are looking for a thorough story with deeply rooted therapy sessions that is cleverly structured, this is it. Long but worth it. I will be looking for other titles written by this author.
