The end b

I really enjoyed this novel. The characters and the twist are jarring.
Since I am a fan of psychological thrillers and horriutthis book was perfect.

Love her writing style

Couldn’t wait for her next book, and I wasn’t disappointed! Raw and edgy and oh so relevant. Not afraid of telling it like it is.

Narrator

The narrator switched accents constantly and that really pulled me out of the story. I also wish there was a bigger difference between the two characters.

3 - 3.5⭐️ (not sure where I'm landing since the ending was so so, but doesn't quite counter act the first half of the book)

Molka is the Korean term for hidden cameras or miniature spy cameras secretly and illegally installed, often in order to capture voyeuristic images and videos.

I don't know if it was me or the media in which I read this book but it took me way to long to get into the story line.

Reason I think it was me - I'm bad with names. Bad at prenouncing them, bad at remembering them. Even simple English name like Tom and Jane i have a hard time keeping straight. These being foreign i had an even harder time with them.

Reason it might have been the media - i read this as an audiobook. I often found myself hung up on the language I didn't understand and missing full sentences. With a physical books I'm better at context clues.

What i liked about it - once I was in it i was IN it. Part stalker story, part ghost story, part female rage revenge story. The last hundred pages had me on the edge of my seat, desperate to know what happens. (Even if the actual ending was anticlimactic)

What i didn't like - the first two thirds are SLOW! Nothing really happening. No reasons to really care about the plot line. Mostly just whining characters doing nothing other than living their lives.

The characters weren't really fleshed out. The men had no personality other than being s*x driven. The women were a little better but still felt very superficial. (At least they had a bit of backstory)
