Most people are curious about mindfulness but believe it is too "out there" for them. There will always be the excuses of not having enough time, being too stressed, not being a spiritual person, or not believing you can ever truly change. The truth is, these excuses are easy for anyone to make, but they all boil down to self-imposed limitation.

The mind is a tool. We, each, make a daily choice to use it to achieve great things or allow it to hold us back. You may even be allowing your mind to hold you back on the decision to explore mindfulness right now!

Mindfulness is not only used for spiritual practice; you can use it to be more patient when waiting in traffic, check in on your emotions during a heated discussion, or calm your stress levels before a big presentation. We all deal with stress in life, so why not learn how handle these situations better so that you can enjoy the good stuff more fully?

If you’re ready to push through your skepticism, gain control of your emotions, and shift negative patterns into positive habits, then scroll up and click the “buy now” button right away!

Such a snore

The reader is very robotic and boring, I can’t get into the book at all.

Very helpful

This course was very helpful. As a fifty year old going through major life changes....kids moving out of the house, physical changes as a woman and generally feeling left behind and lost, this course helped to put life back into perspective. I appreciated the "down-to-earth" explanations for why our minds tend to do the things they do and how to get them to work better for us. I highly recommend this book for anyone whose lost their way on the path to well being.

Life-changing book

I've heard much about Mindfulness from a spiritual standpoint and while I liked the principles, I couldn't fully submit. Until I came across this. This course helped me bridge the gap of uncertainty I had on beginning meditation with this scientific research approach. Now I'm completely sold and can report a huge difference in my outlook and perception of many things in life. This was a life-changing book, very grateful to have found it!

Lots of helpful exercise

During the lectures the author refers to supplemental audio files that contain extended breathing meditations and the like. Audible.com hasn't identified the chapters which contain this content, has anyone noted which chapters contain which exercises.

Got great help

I listened to this course and got great help. I would recommend this to anyone. This one cover a lot of the useful ground, and even use some of the Buddhist parables to illustrate certain points, but each has its own valuable information to share as well.

Entertaining way of meditation

Extensive information about mindfulness, described in a very approachable and entertaining way. Works even better if you commit to doing the excercises in the last chapters along side listening.

Great techniques

Love the way this audio book is clear and concise, and to the point. I also appreciated the section on core beliefs as that is important and not always talked about and also provides a lot of techniques of mindfulness.
