In this episode full of hot takes - and ostensibly about the film FERNGULLY: THE LAST RAINFOREST - Mr. Standing and Mr. Fort try not to depress themselves by discussing transformation as a story theme over being a character's drive, the ALADDIN/HERCULES shared cinematic universe, cartoons taking themselves very seriously, Fort complains about animal sound effects, the wonders of Once-ler Tech, goanna* vore, technicolor sky mermaids, Hexxus Vs. The Smooze, different things the taint has been called, and James Cameron's AVATAR.
They certainly don't mention anything that could date when in 2020 the episode was recorded.
But yes, FERNGULLY: THE LAST RAINFOREST! ...and THE JETSONS: THE MOVIE! ...and MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE! ...and SUPER MARIO BROS.: THE MOVIE! ...and AVATAR!
