Publisher's summary

What’s love got to do with it? If you’re Cupid, everything. If you’re me, not a thing in the sea. I don’t believe in love.

Poseidon is smoking some bad seaweed if he expects me to take the one job I’m obviously not qualified for. Rumor has it, Cupid is a chubby baby with a bad attitude. That’s all I need. A pissed off porcine toddler with love arrows gunning for my tail because I took his job.

On top of that, the idiot I’m kind of seeing who shall remain nameless - mostly because I don’t know his name…don’t judge - left red and silver magic all over my skin and hair last time we…umm…went on a date. And guess what? It doesn’t wash off.

Poseidon saw me sparkling away and now I’m freakin’ Cupid. Getting to the bottom of this abyss means finding what’s his name and thrashing his fine, smexy behind with my fin.

Why does this send shivers of delight all the way to the tip of my tail you might ask? I have no clue and no time to figure it out. Don’t judge.

I’m about to give love a bad name.

Misty’s Mayhem

Misty’s Mayhem by Robyn Peterman
Sea Shenanigans book 3. Paranormal romance with erotica elements and humor.
Misty the mermaid doesn’t believe in love. Falling in love that is. Sex is fantastic but keep the emotions out of it. Then Poseidon makes her Cupid. She has to figure how it all works. With the help of her lover, who she didn’t know was Cupid, hilarity ensues. And maybe love too.

Fantastically sarcastic, hilarious and sexy hot. Ridiculous from start to finish and so much fun. I love this author’s humor.

Excerpt:
“Are we going to boink, or talk?”
“I’m defiantly up for a boink” he relied with a wolfish grin. “And Johnson man tool is very up for it.”
Excerpt from Misty’s Mayhem by Robyn Peterman

🎧 I alternated between a paperback copy and an audiobook. Both were wonderful for different reasons. The audiobook made the humor and sarcasm really pop. The book made the world itself and the characters come to live in vivid color. True audiobook was narrated by Josh Goodman and Savannah Richards. Both gave a wonderful performance that played off the characters egos. I listened at 1.3 for most of the book. With the dialog heavy text, I found 1.5 to be just a bit too fast.

Love is a battlefield

Wonderful story. Made me laugh out loud. I love the sense of humor between all the characters in this series. Gives you a whole new vision of what Cupid is like. I have gotten such great joy from listening to this story. Josh and Savannah do a fabulous job.
