"What do you think, MaryEllen? Can you handle this new assignment or would you prefer me to give it to someone else?" asked Santa.

"You do realize, Santa, that Miss Noel is 50 years old, and up until this day, has been an old maid because she is extremely picky and finicky. No man alive could live up to her expectations!"

"Yes, Mary Ellen, I am fully aware of that. What you don't know is I have received many requests over the years by Miss Noel to please provide her with a mail order groom for Christmas that will meet all of her hopes and dreams...or expectations as you call them."

"I can go to earth with several bottles of Christmas magic...right, Santa? You know I'm going to need them!"

"Yes, MaryEllen, and we will even include some mistletoe. If you're in agreement, we will schedule you to arrive at the Macy's Department Store the day after black Friday. Things will be very busy with the Christmas sales and deals in full swing. I have a feeling Miss Noel will be desperate for an extra pair of hands...and yours should do very nicely. Do you have any questions, my dear?"

"No, Santa. I will do my best."
