Wonderful Friends to Lovers Romance
Mistakes Were Made is a beautifully written best friends to lovers romance with all the feels, plenty of angst, excellent narration and no lack of meddling relatives! What more could I ask for! As a bonus there was plenty of witty dialogue, quite a few laughs and a even a few tears! This one is a keeper!

Absolutely could not stand Zarek
I was really looking forward to listening to this book but I was sorely disappointed because I seriously didn't like the H at all. He was selfish and was always trying to boss her around. SPOILER ALERT - At the beginning of the book he is with someone else and we have to hear him go on about how sexy and awesome she is when she is so not awesome at all, she's a horrible human being. Plus we have to read a scene where they're kissing and about to sleep together and I am one of those people who hate reading about the H/h making out with other people. I don't even want them to be with other people but at least spare me from having to read about them making out. Plus later on he says he never loved her but on minute he acted like he did love her and sometimes he didn't so that confused me. Plus I think it was awful what he did to Scarlett. And he never really, truly apologized or tried to explain why he did what he did which ticked me off. I have to say though that Scarlett didn't take his crap for quite some time. However, I think she should've demanded that they talk about it and get a real explanation out of him. END SPOILER. Also, the book ended too abruptly for me It needed an epilogue. The author is a very good writer though, I just wish she would've written a likable character. I will try out another book by her because she is a good writer but I hope I like the H next time. The narrator was just ok to me. Dual povs and an HEA.
