Overrated

Great, story overall. However, the word badass is overrated. Lol. I can't wait to read more in it series.

If you like Jay Crownover's Dignity, you dig this

Anna Hackett's Brooks - Callie love story is much in line with Jay Crownover's Snowden - Noe's romance in Dignity; i.e., tough, tats, tender, tech geeky, brilliant, brave and of course, beautiful.

The narrator was great.

Geeks are tough too

Brooks has always been my favorite of Team 52 (or maybe I just covet his t-shirt collection) so I was eagerly waiting for this book. I am not disappointed. Brooks and Cali are a great match balancing each other to make a great team. Both are also taken out of their comfort range and find they can do more, be more, than they thought. All in all, a great read. Enjoy!

The narrator did a good job with the voices

Love it

Love the story and love the narrator. Super fast listen. Stella Bloom does an awesome job on each of the characters voices so there was no confusing parts about who was talking.

Intriguing

Anna Hackett intrigued me with Brooks and Callie’s story because while Brooks is a self-proclaimed geek with muscles and tattoos, he’s very comfortable with relinquishing control to Callie, who is the medic for their team! I find it hard to believe that any man will step aside in dangerous conditions to allow his woman to protect him, even if they are comfortable with their manhood! I mean why go through the trouble of bulking up and doing combat exercises with the team if you aren’t going to use the skills when needed?! I do respect that he was patient and compassionate when faced with Callie’s fears! As always, Stella Bloom’s was a wonderful narrator and helped me to enjoy my listening experience!

Another excellent addition to the Team 52 series. I always like the stories that revolve around tech or geeks. This one had a bit more edge of your seat danger than most but was still good. Let's just say I wasn't going to sleep, even in the middle of the night, until the story ratcheted down some.

Finally! I have not been a Stella Bloom fan since I heard her first on an Anna Hackett narration, but I feel she has grown a lot and her narration was top notch.

I'm a huge Anna Hackett fan and have read all of the books she has in publication, and they are all worth your time and exactly what we need as a little distraction from the craziness of life. Brooks and Callie are such an entertaining couple, and I love how Hackett incorporates his genius IQ with his comical Star Wars shirts to his loving family. Enjoy!

Our loveable Star Wars shirt wearing tech guru of the team has been taken, and medic Callie is not going to rest until he is found.

Love that these two attempt to fight their feelings without success, but with some realness to just make the story deeper.

Love this series

I love the team 52 novels. Love this one...I have been waiting for Brooks and Cami’s story. Totally recommend this novel and the series.
