Generally okay

Despite being third in a series, this book stands alone. Having not read the first few books, the plot and characters made sense.

However, the constant references to earlier books were a bit annoying, and completely central to the plot.

I think if you enjoyed the earlier books, then this will be a satisfying wrap up. Otherwise, it’s probably not the place to start.

The narrator fit well with the book.
