Delightful!
My mom got me hooked on these books! You never know what Miss Julia’s going to say or do. I get so hooked on a book that I think of places I can listen to it. It’s on my mind when I can’t. Imagining what the characters look like and what adventure will Julia get in to next! The narrator is just wonderful!

Entertaining and funny
Someone commented that they thought the book was dreadful and frenetic with too much going on at one time.
I strongly disagree. The book is lighthearted, funny and entertaining. As I listened to the audio version on Audible, I envisioned the way everyone looked and dressed as well as the way Miss Julia’s home and church looked.
Ann B. Ross also aptly describes people I have been acquainted with throughout my life. Some of the descriptions she gives make me laugh. Something we don’t do enough of as laughter is always a good thing.
I am looking forward to listening to the whole series.
