The journey itself is so worth the read!!!

I loved getting to know this brave woman. The difficult choices she had to make throughout her young life into adulthood in a culture where the paths ahead were limited. The narrator is especially skilled in bringing both this woman and the culture to life in a way that was illuminating and without any self pity. There is such a wonderful matter of factness in her read that matched the writer’s intention. There is no emotional manipulation here - but rather a straightforward telling that makes compassion a given.

This story is so touching

I loved the way this story was told. The point of view is infused with such a powerful, yet relatable telling of the events in her life that I was left caring for the outcome without giving up hope. The narration was spot on! I didn’t want the story to end.

Wonderful story, fantastic delivery!

I wasn't expecting to be so sucked into this story, but it had me in the first chapter. I was constantly rooting for the lead character and vented to a fellow listener about one twist that totally had me going crazy! The narrators voice is LOVELY and her accent is wonderful.

Revealing and sad story. Excellent performance

I was very interested to learn about this lady’s hard life. I think it’s an important story to hear. I sincerely hope the best for her. This story shines the light on prostitution and shows the desperation that often leads to it as well as how difficult a life it is and the toll it takes on the women.

The narrator did a phenomenal job and was a delight to listen to! I will be looking for more of her work.

An unvarnished glimpse into the life of a prostitute.

This story was beautifully narrated and thoughtfully written. It tugged at my heartstrings. I recommend it to any with a heart.
