I can’t imagine ever loving a series more than this one. The HMC families & their bodyguards are pure gold! After 10 books in the OG Addicted/Calloway series, 2 in Bad Reputation, and now 11 in the Like Us series, Krista & Becca continue to keep storylines new & fresh & completely addicting. It may seem daunting to new readers because you have to start at the beginning (or at least begin w/ the Like Us series Book 1 Damaged Like us), but every moment, every character is worth it! From the very first page of Damaged Like Us you will be transported & fully immersed into the most incredible love stories of these beloved families. (I highly recommend reading the OG series.)

In Misfits Like Us, we finally find out if Luna & Donnelly have been lying about their “friendship” or if they’re only now beginning to fall for one another. These two are unlike any other characters, both misfits in this universe. Yet, the moon & stars & the galaxies above set a gravitational pull toward bringing this Space Babe & the Shameless MotherFer together despite so many obstacles… their age gap, his job as a bodyguard, Luna’s dad Lo, Donnelly’s criminal family that he’s distanced himself from for years.

There’s a purity of goodness in Luna & Donnelly’s characters. A sweetness. A bond formed from their artist talents & being outcasts. I love them. My heart knew in advance that Luna & Donnelly would pull tightly on its strings. And this beginning of their story did exactly that. I can’t wait for Unlucky Like Us to see what obstacles come their way. But their love is inevitable. It’ll be written in the stars! And I am here for every part of it! #lunelly4ever

Where was the ending?

Excellent story until the ending. I will read the next book but I really didn’t want to wait to get an ending.

I have to say though this was probably the most hyped and anticipated of the series. I've been on the fence. But I really liked the Luna and Donnelly characters and was excited to get their POV and while I LOVE this world my heart has always been with the Addicted series and Lily and Lo. I've never fallen in love with any characters as much as them until now. I had so many tears with this one between laughter and heartbreak. I can't wait to see what happens next! That being said IMO the narrators didn't really fit the characters but they did a good job despite that and the further into the book the better it got and I did appreciate that there was no attempt at a Philly accent. Overall it's definitely worth the listen and I would go in order and recommend starting with the addicted series.

So beautiful and it broke my heart

The romance between Donnelly and Luna is epic. I can’t wait to listen to more of their story. Both battling outside forces just to be together. I am enjoying this so much. Michelle Sparks and Alan Carlson have done such a superb job they will forever be the voices of Luna and Donnelly in my head.

Why oh why

I love all these books. I just got all 11 of them on audio. listened to them non stop binge. Why oh why is the one book that has a HUGE cliffhanger gotta be the last one. I have no patience. I'm dying to know what happens to Luna and Donnely. And I ended up in tears at the end. When do they get their HEA. All the other books had happy endings. Not this one. It broke my heart. Totally worth the credits though!

Cliffhanger!! good story , I just wish this couple could get their romance started. a whole lot of bull crap for them to get through first. well written and performed.
