What can I say? I don't want to give anything away because this is one you just have to listen, I have the audiobook, the Kindle version and the Hard Copy (gotta have a shelf trophy too). This Author is a "will always buy a new release" one. First I must say, not a dumpster fire, (inside joke)....

Parece sinks to hooks in from the start and doesn't let go in the dark, horror, crime novel. You think you know but...you don't. I really like the dynamic between Detective Sarah Murphy and her Senior Partner, Leonard Robinson. This being set in the 90's grunge era, you go in with certain...expectations, and Parece definitely delivers. Creepy vibes mixed with Rock&Roll.

Gotta add this one to your TBR for your spooky season reads. be advised this is Adult fiction with reference to adult activities and very descriptive crime scenes.

the author does an excellent job of creating sentences that flow easily and don't sound like they are directed towards a school kid.

unfortunately the female narrator mispronounced some common words.
