Very informative and helpful for a short listen.

This book brings to light the common mistakes made on useless impulse spending. What advertisers do to reel us in and how not to succumb. Mistakes made when trying to pay off debt, and how to become debt free. The narration is also well done. I was given a free copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily decided to leave this review.

Great tips if you don’t know them, great review if you do.

Starting with psychology, through advertising , and basic money management strategies, this is a great collection of tips and perspective. This is not a detailed checklist of steps to create a budget, but rather things to keep in mind as you adjust your life toward being able to reduce debt and save money.

I was impressed with the content. Short, easy single-car-ride listening. Solid tips.

The audiobook was given to me for free in exchange for writing an unbiased review.

I can save you 30 minutes.

This books answer to budgeting is to spend less and save more. That's it. That is all it says. Also the reader has a strong lisp and although that is not his fault some of the sentences are a distraction. I dont usually write reviews but this was so bad, I felt I had to. It appears this gentleman has written a number of lifestyle books. I'll be sure to avoid them in the future.

Good tips for getting your budget under control

This is a short and informative little read with some good tips to help get your budget going the direction you want it to. It tackles some practical tips, habits and general things you can apply to help with your spending and managing your spending. It also points out some common things people tend to do that messes up your day to day spending and can give you some general ideas on how to proceed. The narration by David Miller is decent but has some background issues and some may be less than enthusiastic reading at times. Overall it is a good intro to getting control of your budget and provides some good information.

Good simple tips

Minimalist budget is a very quick overview and introduction to why people blow their budget, and how they can avooid doing some. It covers a range of topics, from psychology to budgets to to changing habits.

Mason looks at the psychology of purchasing -(satisfaction of needs (maslow), attention and perception, preconcived beliefs, etc.) as well as how to ignore advertising (such as lessening exposure through ad blockers, ad free services), how to get over compulsive spending habits, increase your self confidence with budgeting, improving your spending habits (such as getting rid of impulse buys), saving strategies to get out of debt and a basic guide to money management.

Narration by David W Miller is okay. It is not overly interesting, and borders on bored. There is also a loud white noise sound right at the start of recording that shows a lack of attention to the recording process

Good Financial Advice

This is a short book with some good financial advice. The beginning talks about the psychology of spending and moves on to how to resist spending, and how to format good saving habits.

This book was especially timely for me, I have more hobbies than you can shake a stick at. Actually, if shaking sticks at things was a hobby, I'd own all the supplies for it too! Having a reminder to curb spending and study WHY I'm spending was helpful. The narration was done well. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

A Set of tips and tricks to decrease your spending

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So, This feels like any given list you could find on the internet about saving money. There's not much as far as new insight, or new methods. It's broadened a bit, so there's a bit more information that a list would have, but otherwise, the content isn't really any different from an online article.

I'd recommend this if, and only if, you want to avoid doing the research yourself. Some Google searches and effort on your part will probably get you most/all of this information.

That said for the couple of bucks it costs it might be worth it to you to save the time. If you're strapped for time and looking for a quick intro to some standard ideas this is a good place to start.
