Summary of online blogs

If you have spent any amount of time following popular blogs on minimalism, likely you will find nothing new here.

On the other hand, if you have had no experience whatsoever in this arena it may be a useful primer.

Good basic book, excellent narration

I enjoyed this book but even more so its narrator. He has a calm clear delivery which is particularly fitting for a book on minimalism. Those seeking minimalism are often persons who have carried high levels of responsibility and a heavy or stressful workload, so the voice of Wayne Chin is very appropriate and a pleasant experience. I have followed Leo Babauta's blogs and books, and would really appreciate such a pairing of great information with such a well-matched narration.

covers the essentials

It wouldn't make sense for a book about minimalism to be wordy. It gets right to the point.

Short and Sweet

This book confirmed much of my understanding of what minimalism is. It said a lot of nail-on-the-head things that helped me to feel more confident in my journey. I wanted more, but that’s the problem, isn’t it? A lot of us are stuck on auto pilot wanting more of everything when the message is simple: Don’t overthink minimalism.

Start thinking about simplifying your life

Upon building another closet rack (for a closet that now occupies our 3rd bedroom),
I began thinking maybe this is too much stuff.
I am looking to simplify or just make life a little easier.
I began here.
