I feel like a different person

12.I've never meditated before this book, and it has changed my life. I spend a lot of time focusing on the past, wondering what I could have done differently, if I made the right choices, etc and this book was a great introduction into being in the moment. I now incorporate some of the practices of this book into my daily life and I feel like a different person

I purposely took my time finishing this book

I purposely took my time finishing this book, as I wanted to allow each chapter to sink in before moving on to the next. While I have not tried all of the exercises yet, the contributors made all of them convenient by providing tips for practicing almost anywhere or while short on time.

The book is good and explain easy to understand. The exercises are actually helping but i wish there were a tiny bit less pages of reapiting the exercises and more explanations of mindfulness and our behaviort/thoughts.

New skill in the form of meditation

I've never really felt compelled to review products or servjces, but this book definitely deserves one! I absolutely love how it opened my mind to a new way of thinking and being! I read this book hoping to gain a new skill in the form of meditation and discovered sooo much more! will be recommending it to everyone feeling lost and looking for a path and purpose

More calm

I have been a user of the author's headspace app for over a year now, so I had a good idea of what to expect in this book. He is able to explain how to be mindful in a simple and understandable way. I've read many books by zen masters that I value, but I feel like I got more out of this book. It is narrated by the author and he does an excellent job. He tells personal stories that keep you engaged. Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in mindfulness and/or being more calm.
