Publisher's summary

Angus Murray, a bouncer for a New Orleans Shifter bar, is sent to round up an elusive, collar-less Shifter woman, Tamsin Calloway, who is causing trouble for Shifter Bureau and possesses information they want. If Angus refuses, he risks losing his cub.

He finds Tamsin but she's slippery and not about to be rounded up quietly. In fact, quiet is nothing Tamsin will ever be. She leads Angus on a wild chase, but he's determined to bring her in to save his son. Can Tamsin convince Angus she's worth helping before she's locked away by Shifter Bureau, Collared, or perhaps killed?

What an interesting chase she runs him on.

This book shows how a father truly loves his son. I loved the very interesting new shifter Tamsin. Finding out about her opens very interesting facts about all shifters not being created equally, there’s more here to explore, possibly when the big fae war comes. Which I hope isn’t a big item because I like those books least of all.

I love shifters unbound

this is one of my very favorite series. Jennifer Ashley does an amazing job making shifters seem so real. I wish I was mated to one. but thus story of Angus and Tas. was one of my favorite.
Cris Dukecart does a really awesome job with all the voices.

Sly fox!!!

Wellllll this is a little different than the others but in a totally awesome way. We get to meet a new shifter, on that is more special than she may seem.

Tamsin Calloway is a Fox on the run. She’s hiding from Shifter Bureau and when Angus, the bad ass wolf comes sniffing her out, it’s an all out race to get free. Of course, Angus doesn’t let her get away from him. But I’m the time he has Tamsin with him, something changes.

He can’t give her over to Shifter Bureau, nor can he just let her go. Plans are made and y’all, things get hairy, quickly.

Just when they have a plan, and can make. I have happen.... trouble comes again. Angus and Tamsin have to race to get free of the chaos brought before them by not only Shifter Bureau but by the big secret Tamsin has been carrying.

It will take the friends Angus has made and a few extras to get gem free of the trouble brewing. We also get to find out more about Tamsin, and fox shifters. It was very eye opening, and awesome!

Book 11, Just as Good as Book 1!

Cris Dukehart has been the narrator of Jennifer Ashley's Shifter's Unbound series since book one. Her narration inflections are delivered perfectly. When a part is tender, passionate, and loving, it is presented as such. She does the same thing when the story is exciting, humorous, and every other emotion. When there is text to offer reader information, it is presented exactly right and keeps the reader still invested in the story. I highly recommend this audible reading of Midnight Wolf!

I love this series

I love this series Im a reader and a listener I have all the books and the audibles, in the moment Cris start narrating it was like listen to an old friend.
This book in particular and for the first time I didnt like the h. In a movir Gina Torres said " Heroes are people that get others killed" and I feel like this with this couple, she putting him in danger and leaving him behind. But I know it helps the plot.
And is starting to get on my nerves that everybody is trying to beat, humiliated or disrespect poor Dylan, when he is protecting shifters from Humans, Shifter B, Fae and from themselves.
The new characters are very interesting, with a complete new view of their circumstances.💖💖💖

Just okay

First, let me say that I love Jennifer Ashley. I've read just about all she's written. Most of her books in the last 4 years or so I've listened to on Audible. Cris Dukehart has narrated just about all of the Shifters Unbound I believe and I guess I'm just worn out with her. The women all sound snarky and the males very nasally. Suffice to say, what I didn't like about the book was probably exacerbated by my displeasure with the narration. Maybe I'd have like it better had I just read the book rather than listened to it. The relationship between the two main characters picks up very fast however and the story seemed pretty predictable. I couldn't buy into the "you're my mate" when Ms. Ashley hadn't really established a heart connection. It felt like two lonely people (shifters) wanting it to be rather than some instinctual awareness that drew them together or that they couldn't deny. I had to tell myself to finish the book rather than feeling compelled to do so. I'm sure I'll buy the next, but may just wait and see who is narrating before I chose which format. Hope this helps.
