Had to return. Narrations can be terrible.
I really tried enjoying the stories. They were like a fresh long retelling on old stories but, the narrators range from decent to horrible. Different narrators jumped in to tell different stories. The audio recording quality jumped from decent to horrible. As though some readers used decent equipment to record, to some using stale bread as a microphone. Some were hollow and distant. The reading ranged in quality quit severely too. The last one I listened to seemed well recorded but, it was as though he was reading the story for the first time and confused on what he was reading exactly. No real emotion either. Like an adult learning to read with awkward pauses and run offs.
I wish they'd have invested in a professional reader. Would have made a huge difference. I'd say you're better off reading the book. Returned.
