Publisher's summary

Holden Scott is the prince of professional football. At least he was before he lost it all...or, more to the point, before he threw it all away. Now he's out of a job, out of the public's good graces, and perhaps just a little out of his mind. So when a friend offers up his remote lodge in the wilds of Colorado, giving Holden some time away to get his life back on track, he can hardly say no. The last thing he expects is to see a beautiful girl in the woods - one wearing a white lace dress who appears in the moonlight and leaves no footprints behind. Is she a dream? A ghost? A product of his muddled imagination? Or something entirely different?

Midnight Lily is the haunting love story of two lost souls reaching for each other in the dark - a tale of healing, acceptance, and the worlds we create to protect our own hearts. It is a story of being lost, of being found, and of being in the place in between.

Contains mature themes.

What?!?!

I rarely write a review but always try to rate, but this book irritated me because the end was so confusing. I wish I could ask MS what exactly happened and what was real and not real, too confusing to try and figure out a good story and then it lost me

Great Series. This is Virgo

Great story about two traumatized people who find love with eachother. May sound crazy but only Mia Sheridan can tell a story like this and make you love it!

The male narrator wasn't great but I didn't let him ruin the storyline for me. Although the end of the story was a little confusing I walked away feeling I read a great book.

This story was very different.

I really liked this one. It's a difficult write to tackle mental illness. As some of the other reviews mentioned, the end gets a bit convoluted. I had to listen to it over again to get the ending.

Surprise ending

I enjoyed the story and the characters so much. Then I got to the end and fell in love with them again.

Reading

I didn't like the female narrator. Her depiction of the male character was not much different than the female.

Roller coaster of emotions

Wow, Midnight Lily is like nothing I've ever read before. I live Mia Sheridan and all her books. I can't say much about this book without revealing what it's about. All I can say is that it's a different kind of love story.

I don't know what to say... Lol

I'm really unsure what to think about this story tbh... It was ultimately a very tragic story with a sad happily ever after. I don't know what else to say without spoiling it. I was very surprised by the twists, so there's that. And I enjoyed the characters too. But I was left with a very empty feeling, which isn't one I traditionally enjoy after reading romance.

I didn’t understand the end

Taking on mental health issues was brave and gives room for lots of surprises. I did not understand the ending. I listened twice
