This series is a favorite from JrHigh: phenomenal story with interesting characters and beautiful settings.

Sci-fi, mystery, supernatural, fantasy, political, personal, romantic, action, comedy, tragedy: they have all the elements in variable levels and detail.

And Stephen Rudnicki's performances are powerful, versatile, and truly a great pleasure to listen to(I love his different character voices: Thranx/AAnn/other aliens/unique human voices)

The Journey continues

I have loved this series since I was a teenager. Fourty years later I still love these characters.

Midworld: A new beginning!

After reading Midworld and Mid-Flinx I believe that this is a perfect time to develop a new relationship between human-kind and the amazing plants and animals of this remarkable world. I recommend that they build on the granite mountain tops! Have a series of satellites to beam energy through the thick canopy to the Home-Tree settlements. Thanks for a fantastic experience.

Alan Dean Foster at his BEST!

Flinx and Pip are two of my favorite literary creations; I've been reading and enjoying their adventures since I was just a boy. This book is one of my favorites in the Flinx & Pip Sagas! Having previously read 'Midworld' (Another wonderful Foster book!); I was rather prepared for this tale...or at least thought I was. The tale unfolds and magic happens!
Foster is a MASTER STORYTELLER, and weaves his worlds and words seemingly without effort. I await each of his new books with great anticipation:l; he is simply one of my favorite writers.
Having read this book 3 times before, I decided to listen this time... I enjoyed every minute of it.

More action, less endless angst,please

I get bored with the amount of time spent by Flinx in repeatedly obsessing over himself.

Excellent installment in the Pip-Flinx adventures

I am enjoying finally getting to listen to these in Order. Great character development and the Narration is great. (Love Stefan Rudnicki’s voice) Highly recommended!

I thought the narrator did a great job. Lot's of tense points. Flinx & Pip get into trouble but they always remain true to each other. Kiss taking the rescue into her own hands then pouting at the loss of her knife was my favorite part.
