Publisher's Summary

To many people, economics is as confusing as physics. Just as we use physics every day even if we don’t know its technical aspects, we all use economics on a daily basis even if we don’t know its technical aspects.

Yet, unlike physics, introductory economics is not as difficult as it might appear at first. However, it is true that economists speak a different “language”, in the sense that we often use terms that are not common in everyday conversation.

Good content that is better found elsewhere

I'm currently taking a microeconomics course in college and bought this book to help study some concepts. The concepts are useful, accurate and fairly well explained. However, the narrator is awful. She speaks far too fast, and loudly, over-pronounces her "S" sounds so that they drag out and blend words together. It makes it sound almost like there is a constant harsh static. I was only able to bear it by slowing the audio speed down. If you can put up with the narrator, the content is fine, however, you can find the same concepts elsewhere on the internet delivered by more pleasant means.
