Editorial reviews

Actress and comedian Ellen Cleghorne brings her animated no-nonsense comedic stylings to this live stand-up recording. Cleghorne, who has acted in a variety of films and spent four seasons as a member of the Saturday Night Live cast, employs a no-holds-barred approach to comedy, in which no topic is off-limit, no sentiment untouchable. Her stage presence, too, is powerful, and this performance sparks and crackles with energy which the audience audibly responds to. Do yourself a favor and press play - give Cleghorne a chance to totally knock your socks off.

Timeless Act from an Underrated SNL Alum.

Very few comedians can write so many bits that are still so completely hysterical three or four decades afterwards.

Ellen Cleghorne is one of those few comedians who can.

If you want to hear from one of the cast members of those legendary SNL casts of the mid to late 1980s who isn't working as a paid political pundit but is still razor-sharp, material- and delivery-wise, you want to hear from Ellen Cleghorne.
